A much needed reminder
How quickly you forget the importance of spending time with just one child. Jackson and I have been by ourselves for the past 4 hours. We went to the mall, grabbed a burger, went to the park, read books, had a bath, shared a ham sandwich and not one melt down! We have had fun. I do have to say he is wondering where everyone else is! He keeps saying "Daddy, Daddy, Bubbba, Sissy." I hope that I can do this more often with each of my children. Sometimes you just get so caught up in routine that you forget to do special things with each child. Today was a nice reminder! I love my Jackson :)

You know he'll remember those special "date's" with mommy. At this time in my life I spend a lot of time reminiscing about the past, and I remember clearly the one on one times that I had with my parents, even when I was really young. I look back now and appreciate the times my parents took time out of there very very busy schedules (6 kids, church callings, dealership, etc) to stop and spend wonderful memories with me. Your a great mommy Lori.
