Macie is 4 weeks old today! I thought I might find a little time to put a few pictures together. What a joy she has been to our family. Shaun, Emma, and even Jackson only want to ever HELP HELP HELP!!! There has been no "accidents" either! I better be finding some wood! Jackson loves to kiss, hug, kiss, hug, kiss, hug....hold, hold, hold! He loves his baby sister. Emma will sit and hold her for hours if I let her! She has waited for this for 9 months! What a sweet. maternal daughter I have. Her heart is full of only Love. Then my little (excuse me, big Shaun)! He never goes more than a few hours without checking on Macie. He is very protective of her and is constantly worried that she is safe. I just love being a mom! I love each of my children and am so grateful that they are all healthy and strong! I could not sign off without expressing my love to my dear husband. He comes home from work and then begins to work!! I could not do it without him!

Our sweet daughter (Macie) has arrived. She was born on July 14. I am trying to juggle having 4 kids now, so I am definitley behind in the blogging world! I need to get with it and start scrapbooking a little better! Back to Macie though, she was 7 lbs 14 oz. She is healthy, happy, and is very good at sleeping, eating and pooping! I will get a collage together here soon! This mama is tired so I will catch up with this this weekend!

My mom has all the pics on her camera in Alabama! I have been wanting to update our blog, but keep putting it off due to the lack of pictures! I will get them up soon! We had a busy month in May. Jackson turned the big 2!! YES 2 years old. He is more of a 2 year old than Shaun and Emma ever were! NO ...... NO...... NO......That is his favorite word! He loves to climb, flush toilets 6 times in a row, and find the one pen that is not suppose to be out! (usually my fault!) Luckily he usually just writes on himself, but has been known to also post his signature on the furniture! Despite all those silly 2 year old "duties" he is a very sweet, and loving child. I am pleased to see each day him holding Emma's baby doll gently while putting his finger over his mouth saying "shhhhh". That is a good sign, since we will have a real baby here in a little over a month!
We had a Mickey Mouse Birthday party for Jackson. He had several friends come to celebrate with him. He loves Mickey Mouse, and loves to be the center of attention. We love our sweet Jackson and constantly remind ourselves to cherish this sweet age!

My morning in Kindergarten

I had a great time helping Mrs. Johnson this morning. I helped out quite a bit at the beginning of the year but that kind of faded off since I do have 2 little ones at home! Shaun has been working late on Tuesdays now, so I have been able to help on Tuesday mornings. I do have to say, after helping the children with their addresses, phone numbers, and listening to them read, I am very proud of Shaun! He is in the highest reading group, he knows his address and phone number and whizzed right through his morning work. I knew that he knew his address and phone number because I had taught it to him, but what I did not realize is that there are so many that do not have a clue. They just looked at me like I was speaking another language. I have to say, it is very important to spend time with your little ones at home. Teaching them and reinforcing what they are learning at school is how they will succeed! I have just loved watching Shaun learn and grow this school year. WAY TO GO SHAUN :)

The Big Day!

How fun it is to wake up on a beautiful Easter morning. With 3 kids I tried to not first think of the Easter Bunny. I quickly pictured in my mind that wonderful First Easter morning when our Savior had risen. How blessed we are to be apart of His church and to have that knowledge of His Resurrection. I am so grateful for the Atonement. As we took off to church that morning I treasured the last few moments I had to sit next to my husband during sacrament meeting. Or maybe it was the last few moments of somewhat of a peaceful sacrament meeting! As he was called to be the second counselor in the bishopric, he stood up, put his suit coat on and off he went up to the front. It has now been 2 weeks and as I ran into a member of the stake presidency after church today I did not hesitate to let him know I did not care so much for the new calling! He laughed, gave me some good encouraging words of council, and wished me luck! I just keep telling myself...THE GOSPEL IS TRUE!!!!

A much needed reminder

How quickly you forget the importance of spending time with just one child. Jackson and I have been by ourselves for the past 4 hours. We went to the mall, grabbed a burger, went to the park, read books, had a bath, shared a ham sandwich and not one melt down! We have had fun. I do have to say he is wondering where everyone else is! He keeps saying "Daddy, Daddy, Bubbba, Sissy." I hope that I can do this more often with each of my children. Sometimes you just get so caught up in routine that you forget to do special things with each child. Today was a nice reminder! I love my Jackson :)

"Dots"

The other day Shaun (Daddy) was giving Emma her bath. She told him that she wanted more hot water. Both Shaun (II) and Emma love HOT baths and showers! Shaun turned it up a little bit more cause Jackson was going to have a bath with her. She then said, "Daddy, if you don't get the water hot then I will get dots! I don't like dots Daddy!" When she got out of the bath she then showed Shaun her "dots". She had chill bumps all over! Today as well, she was getting in the van when she said, "Mom, its cold, I have dots, see!" It's cute to listen to your children as they continue to learn new things about them and the world around them! I have not yet told her that they are called chill bumps! I guess I should, but I think it's cute because she is so serious!

Tribute to Amberlynn Night!

We love going out once a month as friends. Friends come and sometimes go and we always hate that part. This was my dear friend Amberlynns last time out with us before her trek across the way to Arizona. We went to Skopelos and had a nice dinner. We hope to see her back in 7 long years! We love and miss you Amberlynn! I will try not to erase her phone number from my cell phone!!!

I must say to begin, Jackson HATES the beach! I was soo excited to have Amberlynn take our families pictures at the beach. We could not, sorry, Shaun could not put Jackson down or all of Pensacola would know about it! Its a good thing that I have a great photographer, or I would not have many good pics. During our session the Blue Angels flew over for a quick practice! It was pretty cool to see. Our family is growing. I can't believe how big my children are getting! I am so blessed to have 3 healthy, happy, smart, loving children. Hope you enjoy the very few I was able to select for this collage! Thank you Amberlynn for taking them for us!! We decided to take Jacksons crib down about a week and a half ago. The first few weeks of this wonderful transition is always FUN! Jackson, like I have previously stated, is nothing but a DADDYS BOY! Only Daddy can take him to bed, only Daddy can do anything when Daddy is home! Well, he is doing pretty well, I think, staying in his bed. The last few nights I guess Shaun doesn't think so! Last night he woke up at 11:30 and was outside our door saying, "Daddy.....Daddy....DADA.....DADDY!!!!! After Shaun took him to be several times, he asked if I would try! Oh yeah...I already knew how that was not going to work. So I open the door and said "hey baby, let mama take you back to bed. I don't think I even got that short sentence out before he was arching his back screaming for his Daddy! This part I thought was cruel, Shaun took him from me and said, "don't get out of bed again or mama will take you back!" My jaw dropped, I could not believe that my husband was saying that. He just laughed, but, the real sad thing to me, but funny to Shaun is that he did not get back up! Jackson is such a sweet baby. I can't believe that he will be 2 in less than a month!

Okay, so I just learned how to do a collage. I will definitely have to practice on making them cute, but here is a simple one. My good friend, Amberlynn, and I went out lally gaggin around one day! She took a few pregnancy pictures to help me remember this fun time in my life. We are so excited to add another sweet baby girl to our family. The kids enjoy feeling her move and do her somersaults! Emma especially can't wait for her birth. I think we buy something for her just about every time we are in Target or at the mall(courtesy of Big Sister!) I love being a mom!

Shaun has really enjoyed Kindergarten this year. His uncle Jon got him Dick and Jane for Christmas. It took him awhile to start reading it but once he started he whizzed right through it. He was so excited to get to page 100! I just can't believe he is reading. I swear I was taking naps and coloring with 2 recesses, and only going a half day when I was in Kindergarten! I am so proud of him. He is now half way through a Disney Pixar Story Collection book. He plans to finish this one during his spring break this next week. Way to go Shaun!!! Love you

My kids are growing up! I just love these pictures that my friend took of the kids. I thought I would put another one up of Shaun and Emma. Shaun is doing so well in Kindergarten and Emma is about to start pre- school this next school year! Where does all the time go?? Little Jackson did not want to be apart of the picture taking this day, but yes, he is our little one that's not so little! I Love being a mom, and it's a good thing since July is coming up real soon :) We are all sooo excited, especially Emma!! She is a mommy in training.

So Shaun wanted to be a little stubborn and not participate in the Daddy/Children photo. I was a little bummed cause I thought it turned out cute, but what do you do! This was just before we took off for church last week. My friend Laura, in Idaho, made a smart comment about those of us that don't update our blogs like we should, well, that's it! Okay so its January 29th and Im just now putting this picture up. Every year we go to the Fish River Tree Farm and cut down our Christmas tree. This was our 8 1/2 foot tree for this year. We then go on a train ride around the farm and finish the event with sitting on Santas lap. It is something that our young children look forward to every year. We really enjoyed our Christmas season and I will strive to update this a little better soon!

Thanksgiving was very good. I think I'm still full! I love this time of year when you look at your family a little different and appreciate the blessings that are in your life a lot more. It almost brings me to tears each time my children pray for "those people that don't have homes or cars". I am grateful for the gospel in my life that helps keep our priorities in order, and helps us to remember the true meaning of what the Holidays are about.

My Poor Baby

Alright, so I took Jackson in for his diaper rash and his chest cold and came out with an ear infection. Two days later he is throwing up and burning slap up with a fever for 36 hours now. I sat on the recliner with him ALL day today! I did get to fold 2 loads of laundry. You know me!! Everyone pray for him please :(

Jacksons Dr.'s Apointment

Jackson has had this cough and a little wheezing for a few weeks. He has not had a fever and has not really gotten any worse so I have not worried about it too much. Yesterday he came down with this bad diaper rash, sooo I took him to the doctor today to kill two birds with one stone. I came away with a prescription for his ear infection! His bottom is looking better today though.

Jackson has turned into a monkey. He loves to climb, be outside and eat bananas! Really he likes to eat anything. As I was looking at him today, I thought " he is really not a baby anymore". Soooooo.....Our family might be growing next year!!

Emma cracks me up everyday. She always has something cute to say and her expressions never get old. She is such a sweetie. We went window shopping for beds and comforters today. I have to get her out of her toddler bed! She still weighs in at a whopping 29 pounds.

Okay so I'm not really good at keeping up with this quite yet. We have had some fun things happen recently. Shaun lost his first tooth. I got to pull it!! He told me that he did not want to loose anymore! The Tooth fairy brought him $5. I'm pretty sure though that was because it was his first one :)

Welcome to our families BLOG!! WOO-HOO! I have so many good friends that all have growing families and I need to keep up with them. I'm excited to also share my beautiful family snap shots with you. I miss my friends, companions(Missionary!), and family. I'm ready to play catch up!

I have been married for 6 years. My wonderful husband (Shaun) turned 29 today! He is so good. We had to come home early from his birthday celebration tonight so he can go to the Priesthood broadcast. He is definitely a blessing in my life.

My son, Shaun, just started Kindergarten this year. WOW..time does fly the older you get! He is so sweet and a little smarty pants. He is doing very well in school. I'm pretty sure that he is one of his teachers "FAVORITES". Surely it has nothing to do with the fact that I am the Room MOM! I'm pretty excited about that. No, he is a good boy. He takes after his mama!

Our little Emma is almost 4. She is..........I'm not sure what the word for her is! She is a sweet little girl :) She has her own opinion about everything and will not hesitate to share it with you. Let me just say, looks can be deceiving! Yes, she is "soo cute" and "soo little". Emma told me the other day that she wants a baby sister. AHHHHH!!! She is our little Angel, most of the time!

Our baby for now is Jackson. He is almost 17 months. He loves to eat. He is a big boy, out weighing his older sister by about a pound. He loves to hug everyone...wait, that comes after he walks up to you and hits you! It seems like he thinks that he has to hit you in order to give you a hug. It comes that quick. He is the sweetest big baby. I just love snuggling with him.
